FW BLACK COLLECTIVE • SMALL BUSINESS SUPPORT
Resources to start, stabilize, and grow your business
You do not have to figure it all out alone. Connect with practical tools, trusted resources, and community-centered support for entrepreneurs and small business owners in Federal Way, South King County, and Pierce County.
Start with FWBC
Our Small Business Resiliency Network (SBRN) connects business owners with technical assistance, education, and resource navigation. Through the Small Business Resiliency Wellness Hub, one-on-one support begins with an intake assessment so we can understand your business, identify priorities, and help map your next steps.

Get help identifying needs related to business planning, operations, financial readiness, marketing, and referrals. Together, we can build an action plan around your goals.

Before you begin: Write down your business idea, customers, ownership structure, location, startup costs, and questions about licensing or permits.
Get ready for funding
Funding readiness starts with a clear picture of your business and how you will use the money. FWBC can help you identify preparation needs and connect with relevant resources.

- Current financial records and tax documents, when applicable
- Business registration and licensing information
